Ahead of their Somerset wedding in a couple of weeks time, Tom, Natalie and I headed into Lyme Regis for a pre-wedding shoot. Lyme is a special place for them so we went for a walk on a blustery Sunday afternoon to get some images of the two of them together.

An absolute scorcher of a day, that turned out to be the hottest day of the year! I photographed the whole day right through to the first dance but starting with meeting the groom and his groomsmen in the morning, who it’s fair to say were suffering a little from drinking the bar dry at a local restaurant the night before! We got some great shots of the lads down by the picturesque Cobb as they sorted themselves out with hair of the dog!

I photographed the full day from the bridal preparation through to the first dance. With the recent poor weather we were blessed with sunshine for most of the day. After going overcast in the afternoon we had a 15 minute window with a lovely sunset which we managed to take advantage of and get some really stand out shots.

I arrived at the venue in pouring rain but it cleared in time for the arrival of the bride! There were some lovely grounds at the venue with lots of old farm machinery around and an orchard to the rear. I photographed the day from just before the ceremony through to the early evening.

I arrived a short while before the ceremony and photographed the key parts of the day from through to the first dance. It was a wonderfully happy family day at a beautiful venue hidden on the University campus.
